Note to new students:

All new students must supply proof of identity when they first enrol, along with copies of their academic transcripts of their prior degrees. Evidence of English language proficiency is also required.

Certified copies of these documents must be received by the Course Administrator one week before Monday of Week 0 so your enrolment can be processed. Please note that these documents are not returned if applications are unsuccessful.

Note to all students: A non-refundable fee of AU$200 will apply to all late enrolments. The enrolment period will close one week before Monday of Week 0 and any applications processed after this date will incur a AU$200 late fee.

Fee payment must be received prior to COB Monday (Melb. time) of Week 0.

All our degree programs are fully accredited by Swinburne University of Technology. (For details, see our accreditation page.)

Places in SAO units are not confirmed until payment is received and cleared, and as some classes can fill early, we suggest that you apply and pay as early as possible. Note that payments cannot be accepted until you have been accepted into an SAO program: once accepted into a program, you will be contacted to arrange payment for the forthcoming semester. Payment by Visa and Mastercard credit cards is preferred, however if you need information about other methods of payment, please contact astro@swin.edu.au.

Start-up kits, including instructions on accessing the student website are emailed to enrolled students the week prior to each Semester.

Enquiries about eligibility for entry to the courses (or queries about the course content) should be directed to Dr Glen Mackie, astro@swin.edu.au, ph +61 3 9214 5743.
