UTMOST has 3 primary science drivers:
Fast Radio Bursts – A project to monitor the sky for radio transients, such as Fast Radio Bursts
Pulsar timing – A project to time hundreds of pulsars on a daily basis
MAP – A project to greatly improve Molonglo’s mapping sensitivity
