Prof. Graham's research deals with the structure and dynamics of galaxies, their dark matter halos and their central supermassive black holes. Previously he has worked as a Research Fellow at The Australian National University's Mount Stromlo and Siding Spring Observatories, as a NASA-funded Faculty Scientist within the University of Florida's Department of Astronomy, and as a Postdoc/(Support Astronomer) at the Spanish Institute for Astrophysics in the Canary Islands and their Observatorio del Roque de los Muchachos, home to the world's largest steerable optical/infrared telescope, the Gran Telescopio Canarias.
