3rd Australian Exoplanet Workshop

5-6 December 2013   -    Swinburne University, Melbourne

The 3rd Australian Exoplanet Workshop will be held at Swinburne University in Melbourne from 5-6 December 2013.

Hosted by Swinburne's Centre for Astrophysics & Supercomputing, this is the 3rd meeting that aims to bring Australian researchers working on exoplanets (from both an observational and theoretical perspective) together. The workshop will cover surveys, characterisation and theoretical modelling of planet formation and evolution. The timing of the workshop is such that we hope to be able to discuss ARC proposals that address topics related to exoplanet science.

Participants are encouraged to give a short presentation, either on a specific research issue, or to brief the workshop on the research capabilities in exoplanetary science in their departments at present. There will also be an opportunity to discuss important questions, and strategies for increasing linkages and collaborations as a means to expanding this critical research area in the future.

There is no registration fee to attend the Workshop. However, please indicate your attendance via the registration page, which includes the option to submit a title and abstract of the talk. Registration deadline is 22 November 2013.
