Celestial

Celestial generally means “to do with the stars or heavens”. A celestial body is one that originates from, or is present in, the heavens, and is often used when describing comets, asteroids or constellations.

Astronomers find it useful to talk about celestial coordinates such as right ascension and declination which are projected onto an imaginary “celestial sphere”.
