My main area of interest is in protostellar disks dynamics and evolution. I am using SPH (Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics) to model gaseous accretion disks, investigating their instabilities and evolution. I have worked on instabilities in massive protostellar disks, as well as gap formation in protoplanetary and circumbinary disks. I also have a two-phase dusty+gas SPH code for building planets which keeps me busy. To compare models with observations, I make synthetic IR maps.
