One of the newest innovations in astronomy publishing is the electronic version, and in particular the electronic preprint. However a word of warning is necessary. The preprints can be in varied stages of publication, ie. accepted or submitted to a refereed journal; submitted for conference proceedings. Some preprints are only submitted to the preprint Web site, and many disappear after a relatively short time!
