After a 4 year stint as a research fellow at the European Southern Observatory in Chile, I'm now a full-time member of the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing at the Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne. Rather than focusing on astronomical research, these days I'm much more involved in educating the public about astronomy. My main projects are writing COSMOS: The Swinburne Astronomy Online Encyclopaedia, running Teacher Professional Development Sessions in astronomy and grabbing the imagination of students and the public alike through our 3D AstroTours.
