NGC 1399
- NGC 1399 is the central dominant elliptical galaxy in the Fornax
cluster of galaxies.
An image of the optical (greyscale), radio continuum (green contour)
and Broadband X-ray (red contour) can be viewed by clicking
on the small image below. X-ray contours at the centre of the image
have been deleted to allow the radio jet to be seen clearly.
