Samuel Moorfield
My role as Virtual Reality Manager for Swinburne 3D Productions if focused on the development of high quality stereographic (3D) animation. Since joining the team in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia, I have worked on six 3D films in the AstroTour library and several live action and animated projects.
My work also involves:
- Creating high quality digital models.
- Building and maintaining the Swinburne Astronomy Productions website and online video library.
- Designing multi-media and print material for Swinburne Astronomy Productions and the AstroTour package.
- Producing graphics to accompany articles written by/about astronomers at the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing.
- Developing new stereographic projection techniques for a better 3D theatre experience.
