My interests span much of theoretical cosmology and relativistic astrophysics. Recently, I have particularly been interested in the use of inhomogeneous cosmological models as alternatives to the standard Lambda-cold dark matter (Lambda-CDM) model. This involves using exact solutions of the Einstein field equations describing the gravitational field to model inhomogeneities in the Universe. The implementation of such models is indistinguishable from Lambda-CDM using current cosmological data-sets. The battle is therefore to come up with independent tests which will verify which model is correct. I have also recently begun working on a separate project with Chris Fluke at Swinburne and the Gravitational Astrophysics group at the University of Sydney on gravitational lensing codes. Here we are comparing two different methods for determining weak gravitational lensing through N-Body simulations.
