Dr. Manodeep Sinha
I am a computational astrophysicist, and run massively parallel numerical simulations to study a wide range of astrophysical phenomena-galaxy interactions, small-scale galaxy clustering, and the first black holes and the epoch of reionization. In my current role at Swinburne, I am in charge of importing new simulations into the Theoretical Astrophysical Observatory (TAO; http://tao.asvo.org.au/). I am also a part of the ARC Centre of Excellence for All Sky Astrophysics in 3 Dimensions (ASTRO-3D) and will incorporate the Genesis simulations into TAO and provide observers with realistic mock observations.
