Joris Verbiest
After finishing a Master's degree in technical radio astronomy, including a thesis on interferometric simulations, I was a student at the ATNF in Sydney for 10 weeks, working on HI observations of a nearby dwarf galaxy. Currently I am doing a PhD on pulsars and how these can be used as probes to test General Relativity, using the Parkes radio telescope in NSW to get my data. This PhD is supervised by Matthew Bailes here at Swinburne and Richard Manchester during my frequent visits to the ATNF.
