HOTEL RESERVATIONS - BOOK BEFORE MAY 18th

A last reminder. May 18th is the last day for making reservations in the block booking the LOC made at the Lakeside Resort, Penticton. July is the high season in Penticton, and accommodation can be difficult to come by unless it is reserved well in advance. If you wish to consider alternatives, examine the links on the meeting web site (http://www.drao.nrc.ca/ska2004) to find a suitable hotel/motel/guest-house. Again, rooms will be increasingly difficult to book as July approaches. Our advice is that you reserve your room AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

SPOUSAL PROGRAMME

After a number of enquires, we have decided to arrange a spousal programme for those accompanying conference delegates. Jan Milligan has kindly volunteered to co-ordinate the programme.

Penticton is a wonderful location for outdoor activities - hiking, biking, golf, vineyard tours etc. We encourage you to examine the list of potential acitivities at http://www.drao.nrc.ca/ska2004/Spousal_Programme.pdf
