Netscape 7.1 Problem

I can't see all the messages in a newsgroup

This problem is caused by an issue with the Swinburne Newsserver. The problem is due to the Swinburne server sending incorrectly indexed messages to Netscape when you download or synchronise your newsgroups. This can be fixed and the workaround for this problem is:

  1. Delete the ilearn.swin.edu.au server in your newserver list.
  2. re-create the account.
  3. re-subscribe to all your newsgroups.
The process for this is described below
1. Start Netscape Mail & News
2. Select ilearn.swin.edu.au and click on the View settings for this account
3. Click on the Remove Account button to delete the account
4. Now follow the Setting up Netscape process for re-creating your account and re-subscribing to your newsgroups.
