Changing Your Blackboard Password

• As for 2008, Swinburne has moved to a new Swinburne Identity Management System (SIMS), which allows students to to access information from commonly used Swinburne University applications - such as Blackboard - using a single username and password.
• At the start of 2008, all students - both new to SAO and reenrolling students - will need to first go the the MySwinburne portal and set their SIMS password. This will automatically change your Blackboard password as well.
• To log on MySwinburne and set your SIMS password, your users name will be your 7 digit Swinburne student ID number, and your password will be your date of birth in DDMMYY format.
• If at any stage during the semester you wish to change your Blackboard password, you will need to return to the MySwinburne portal and change your SIMS password.
