Blackboard Browser Mode and Text Editing

Due to a incompatibility between Blackboard Browser mode and Newsread mode, all Browser users must make the following change to their Blackboard Setup. If you do not make this change, then all the messages you post, will appear with nasty HTML characters (e.g. <P>) for users who use the Newsreader mode. Please follow these steps to setup your Blackboard Browser correctly:

Login to Blackboard.
Click on the Personal Information link in the Tools area.
Click on the Change Personal Settings link.
In the Text Editor On or Off section, select Set Availability to Off. Then click on Submit.
