AstroFest 2008 - Location

AstroFest 2008 will be held over the weekend (17-19 October) in the Yarra Valley, Victoria, Australia, with a final day (20 October) on the Swinburne campus in Hawthorn, Melbourne. The nearest airport is Tullamarine, which is the international Melbourne airport and is about 65 km (or a 1 hour drive north east) away from the Yarra Valley and 30 km (or a half hour drive) from Swinburne University's Hawthorn campus.

The Yarra Valley Conference Centre is located at 2164 Melba Hwy, Dixons Creek, which is in the Yarra Valley about 69 km (1h20m drive) north-east of Melbourne.

The Hawthorn campus of Swinburne University is located on the corner of John St and Burwood Rd in Hawthorn, which is about 7 km east (15 min drive or train trip) from the city centre and 30 km south-east of the airport.
