Local Accommodation Options

We list here only six nearby hotels/motels. Because the Hawthorn campus of Swinburne University is adjacent to the main east-west train line in Melbourne, people can also stay in the Central Business District (CBD ... i.e., the "City") and commute along the Belgrave/Lilydale line from the City (Flinders Street Station), getting off at Glenferrie Station. The train from the City costs $2.60 and takes 15-20 minutes. Trains run every 10 minutes. Accommodation within the City can be found at The Mebourne Hotel Guide.

We are happy to book a suitable hotel for you, should you not wish to do so from overseas/interstate - if you would like us to do so, please contact Brad Gibson or the Centre's Administrative Assistant Michelle Jolley. We will need a credit card number from you in order to book your room.
