Venue

The Cosmology & Galaxy Formation Group within the Centre for Astrophysics & Supercomputing at Swiburne University will act as host for GCD-V. The Centre has been in existence since 1998, but has quickly become Australia's third-largest astronomy department, with more than 30 personnel.

GCD-V will be held in the Main Lecture Theatre of the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship (AGSE207) on Swinburne University's Hawthorn campus. AGSE is a two minute walk from the Applied Science Building, home of the Centre for Astrophysics & Supercomputing. Relevant maps can be found at http://www.swin.edu.au/agse/contact/map.htm.

The Hawthorn campus is situated 7 km east of the Central Business District (15 minutes by train) in the heart of the shopping and cafe culture which defines the Glenferrie Road district.
