CDROM - HET603 Exploring Stars and the Milky Way

• Bug - Mod 2 Act 1 "The Kelvin temperature scale 2" (appendix)

  On the bar graph: The Celsius and Kelvin temperature labels should line up with the lines through the rainbow scale. You can see that as you go to the right, they get progressively out of position. If they lined up properly the arrows would correctly point to the positions of freezing/melting and boiling points of water.

HET603, HET604 Text - Universe - Kaufman and Freedman

• Missing squared notation - 6th Edition - Chap. 25, Page 575 (Box 25-2)

  The second last equation in the box should have the velocity (2.2 x 10^5) squared

• Typo - 5th Edition - Chap. 5, Page 101

  c, speed of light should be c=299,792.458 km/s (not c=299,792,458 km/s)

• Typo - 5th Edition - page 459, Box 19-1

  Second paragraph. "The component PARALLEL ..." should read "The component PERPENDICULAR ..."
