Getting to Swinburne

The Hawthorn Campus of Swinburne University is located about 10km east of the Melbourne City Centre. Consult this Google Maps Link for map information on about Swinburne and the Centre. The University is well serviced by public transport with Trains, trams and busses:

Taxi		Ask your driver to take you to the: Hawthorn Campus of Swinburne University of Technology Burwood Rd Between Glenferrie Rd and William St Make your way through to the centre of the campus, there are campus maps in prominent locations, and locate the AR Building.
Train		From the city, take one of the Belgrave, Lilydale or Alamein Lines making sure it stops at Glenferrie Station (during peak times some trains don't stop at Glenferrie Station). As you walk through the ticket barriers, turn right towards the council car park. Follow Swinburne Walk, the narrow path that leads along the railway line, until you reach the gate between the red brick AR and AD buildings. Walk betweenthese buildings, and veer to the right to enter the AR Building. Walking from the station to campus will only take a couple of minutes. Finding the Centre

The Centre is located on levels 2 and 3 of the AR Building (Arts Building). The AR building is centrally located in the Hawthorn Campus. If the building is difficult to find, ask a passing student to direct your to "Haddons", a coffee shop, that is located in the ground floor of the AR building. Once at the AR building, make your way up the first flight of stairs, through the double doors and find the Centre Administrator.
